Doña Anita was my mom's godmother. She was very old when I was small child. Whe was very catholic but had a cool sort of mystical layer to her. Yes, she frequented the bible studies my mom was a part of but she was also very connected to nature and natural remedies. I still think of her from time to time and I was thinking of her when I made this piece of a head that shows a woman's head that also is a flower portal. If you ever come across a flower portal, you get in.
